At The Seahorse, there are two 18-metre indoor swimming pools, both with a maximum safe depth of 1.2 metres. Whether you're a serious swimmer or just looking for a splashing good time, The Seahorse indoor pools are the perfect spot for adults and children alike. Heated to around 30.0C all year round, it’s perfect for the whole family to enjoy, whatever the weather!
Jump feet first into a world of excitement with our water flume! Slide, splash, and enjoy time with family and friends in our fun pool.
Beat your best lap time, enjoy some carefree floating, or cool down from the Cornish summer sun in our lap pool. With floor-to-ceiling glass on one side letting the light flood in, the lap pool is the perfect spot for a relaxing or recharging swim.
Fancy a post-swim refreshment? Visit our Lower Deck Coffee Shop for a delicious hot drink, milkshake, pastry, panini or Cornish pasty. Plus, you can ask for your hot drink to go, and enjoy a brew with a view down on the beach!

Are you ready to plunge into a world of aquatic wonder? Look no further – below, you'll find all the information you need about the swimming pools at The Seahorse. Whether you're seeking family fun, fitness, or a blend of both, we have the perfect pool experience waiting for you.
The pool is open every day from 9am – 1pm (last entry at 12.15pm) and 2pm – 6pm (last entry at 5.15pm).
Please be aware that 20 minutes prior to closing time, Lifeguards will ask guests to start vacating the swimming pool. The swimming pools will be closed to non-residents between 25th May – 1st June 2024 and 20th July – 31st August 2024.
Please purchase your swim session from the Coffee Shop before entering the swimming pool.

- Infants (under 3’s): Free
Both pools are open to non-residents for most of the year, however, we do have to limit the number of customers using our pools during peak dates. Therefore, during Whitsun and the main school summer holidays, the pools are only open to guests staying at Pentewan Sands Holiday Park. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
For 2024, the swimming pools will be closed to non-residents between 25th May – 1st June 2024 and 20th July – 31st August 2024.

Looking for a unique and exciting way to celebrate your child's special day? Join us for our Seahorse Swim Parties! Let them exhaust their energy in our fun indoor pool. Afterward, refuel upstairs in our Main Deck Restaurant with a special children's party menu or buffet and unlimited squash. Plus, your table will be specially decorated with a birthday balloon.
If you'd like to organise a children's party with us, please email events@seahorsecornwall.co.uk with your party requirements. Our friendly staff will book your party and will happily answer any questions that you may have.

Please purchase your swim session from the Coffee Shop prior to entering the swimming pool. Children under 12 years of age may not use the swimming pool unless accompanied by a responsible adult (an adult must be aged 18 and over).
We have two indoor swimming pools at The Seahorse. Both pools have a safe maximum depth of 1.2 metres and a shallow beach area that's perfect for toddlers. The swimming pool is 18 metres in length.
Please follow the signs to The Seahorse car park where you will be able to park. Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) is in use in our car park, so we kindly ask that you pay on arrival using the car park machines. This is a card or cash-operated machine.
There is also an overspill car park near the main entrance to Pentewan Sands.
Car park pricing:
Main car park:
- 0 - 15 minutes = Free
- 15 minutes - 1 hour = £1.50
- Up to two hours = £3.00
- Up to three hours = £4.50
- Up to four hours = £6.00
No return within two hours.
Charging periods in the Main car park:
From 6am - 7pm every day. Parking is free after 7pm. No parking between midnight and 6am.
Show Field car park:
- 1 hr = £1.00
- 2 hrs = £2.00
- 3 hrs = £3.00
- 4 hrs = £4.00
- All Day (show field only) = £6.00
Charging periods in the Show Field car park:
From 8am - 9pm every day. The gates to the car park will be locked at 9pm.
The Main Deck Restaurant
After your swim, you’re sure to have worked up an appetite. So, what's on the menu? Our upstairs Main Deck Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering delectable meals for the whole family.
